As part of an ongoing rebranding campaign, Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation launched its new website on Wednesday.
The new website functions similarly to the former site, said Marketing Coordinator Lauren Jones Hillman, but is more user and mobile-friendly.
“Compared to our old site, every tab and page is in the same order, but now, there’s a new look and a fresh approach,” Jones Hillman said. “Our customers can still register for sports and activities the way they normally would, and can still find information about our programs and services.”
Recently, Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation announced a new logo, and the website is a new addition to several positive changes for the department.
“This is just another step in our rebranding process,” said Department Director Kevin Cowling. “The site is more user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and representative of what we do. We are trying to be more reflective of the department, who we are and what we aspire to move towards.”
