Georgia Living Well 6-week workshop will be Charles C. Parker Center starting on September 19th.

Rome, Georgia- Georgia Living Well, a Chronic Disease Self-Management Program, is offering a 6-week workshop to be held at Charles C. Parker Center. This course can be of help to those who are struggling with heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, depression, breathing problems or other physical or mental conditions. This course will be taking place on Tuesdays from 1pm to 3:30pm until October 24th.

During this workshop, those who take the class, will learn techniques in which to deal with symptoms of chronic disease such as fatigue, pain, stress/anxiety, tense muscles, difficult emotions, shortness of breath. There will also be discussions of nutrition and exercise choices as well as learning better ways to talk with family and doctors.
